The New School, through the Observatory on Latin America (OLA), together with the National University of San Martin, Buenos Aires, Argentina, launched the President Néstor Kirchner Fellowship in memory of the late President of Argentina and Secretary of the of South American Nations (UNASUR) Néstor Kirchner. The public launch of the Fellowship took place in Buenos Aires, in “Casa Patria Grande”, on April 20 at 6pm.

The fellowship is a fitting legacy to the achievements of former President Néstor Kirchner and his distinguished career in government and public service as the President of Argentina and his important work as the first Secretary General of UNASUR.
