The Urban Planning Commission of the Central Society of Architects (Sociedad Central de Arquitectos, SCA), of Argentina, launched the 2020 Series of Reflections: “Hacia un nuevo paradigma urbano – La mirada experta” (“Towards a new urban paradigm – The expert view”), in an inescapable context of uncertainty and challenges.
The first meeting was held on Monday, May 18, at 5:00 p.m., online.

Margarita Gutman (ARG-USA), Zaida Muxi (ARG-ESP), Jorge Perez Jaramillo (COL), Ignacio Alcalde Marcos (ESP) and Martim Smolka (BRA-USA) participated in this first international table of experts. )
This series, which will unfold throughout 2020, proposes:
- To bring together the analysis and reflections of experts in planning, environment and architecture, and of the main officials with effective management responsibilities.
- To convene professionals and institutions to present ideas, strategies and projects to adapt our environment under new paradigms of planning, construction and relationship.
- To carry out a closing day and conclusions on the day of Urban Planning in November.
