Maurucio Santoro Rocha was consulted by The New York Times (NYT) on Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff visit to the United States. Mauricio is a journalist and holds a Ph.D. in Political Science. He currently acts as Professor of the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
During his two-week stay at The New School, he met the NYT reporter Larry Rohter, author of Brazil on the Rise: The Story of a Country Transformed and former NYT bureau chief for the Rio de Janeiro office.
