Dear friends of OLA, We have great news, the first Museum of Futures is open! On April 28th, we launched the Museum of Futures as part of the 2084 Imagined Futures from the South program. With this we aim to mobilize thinking about the future of our cities from a multiplicity of voices and experiences.
Today, the Museum hosts over 140 imagined futures that reflect the wishes, hopes, dreams and fears about daily life in the year 2084. It also includes imagined Futures from the Past.
Join the Museum of Futures! Just follow these simple steps:
- 1. Travel with your imagination to the year 2084 and ask yourself what everyday life will look like in 2084.
- 2. Create something you can share (an image, text, audio file, or whatever you come up with) and tell us how the year 2084 looks, sounds or feels.
- 3. Upload your imagined future at our SHARE page.
The future has no owner, it belongs to those who imagine it.
