Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM) and the Observatory on Latin America (OLA) of the New School University in New York are pleased to invite to the First Development Forum that will take place on Friday, November 8th, from 9am to 8pm, at Campus “Miguelete” UNSAM.

The organization of this Forum aims to institutionalize a space for plural discussion about: challenges and development alternatives in today’s world; new global dynamics and its impact on regional-national spheres; roles of the State, Institutions and University in the development process; relationships between social actors and territory in local development; expansion of rights and its political implications; among other topics of interest for the region.

The first edition of the Development Forum was organized in four discussion panels, composed by

The closure of the even will count with the presence of Carlos Ruta, Provost, Universidad Nacional de San Martín and Carlos Tomada, Minister of Employment, Labor, and Social Security of Argentina.
