SDG and NUA in Buenos Aires

Achievement of twelve of the seventeen or more than 70% of the SDGs will depend on effective action at the city level. This is why the Observatory on Latin America together with the Mistra Urban Futures (MUF) platform (which links local interaction platforms from various cities around the world: Cape Town, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Sheffield-Manchester, Kisumu, Malmö, and via OLA, Buenos Aires) is engaged in a co-production approach around the operationalization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the New Urban Agenda (NUA) at the local level. The Buenos Aires partnership comprises three key institutions, the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design of the University of Buenos Aires, the Foreign Relations Department of the City of Buenos Aires, and the world-renowned Centre of Legal and Social Studies, which works on human rights issues in Argentina and Latin America at large.
