New urban practices
This program calls for new urban practices where problems are no longer addressed in conventional disciplinary silos, but focus on integrated solutions in which economic, environmental, and social consequences are considered together in the design and implementation of policies, actions, and physical interventions.
The New Urban Practices program is currently working on these issues through two projects. The Urban Resilience in Latin America project analyzes innovative resilience strategies in six cities in the region. The Evaluation of Neighborhood Improvement project designed a monitoring platform for Buenos Aires’ slum upgrading program.
