There are some moments that are disruptive, that modify the course of life as it came and challenged us with emotions, with questions. This is the President Néstor Kirchner Fellowship – and that is also Nestor – something more immense than what, at least, I could imagine. It is like learning to read: after that, life cannot longer be the same, our way of inhabiting and understanding the world changes. And that is why we change.

The PNK Fellowship is not homogeneous or always the same. On the contrary, we are building it all de time and everything that happens during those weeks is resignified with the Public Lecture.

I believe that it is a process of inter-learning, where it is clear that knowledge is built (also) in practice. These days we heard not only strong theoretical and methodological positions but also memories, stories from other times and places that discuss with the present and with the problems that we have to face. These days we debate, we reflect, we look at our own practices and the ones from others with only one objective: to think about policies and academic institutions that allow us to be part and build a society with social justice, with sensitivity, with equity.

On a subjective level, it involved a beautiful and unexpected challenge that was very well accompanied by the members of the OLA, the professors and students of The New School.

Thank you very much Presidente Néstor Kirchner Fellowship!.
